Justin was born and raised in the Ottawa Valley. After spending several years studying away from home, he always knew he would return to this place that he loves. Justin has been an integral member of the PITV team for over 7 years and he is proud to serve this great community, helping his clients become stronger, healthier and to move better.

Justin pursued his undergraduate degree at Ottawa University where he received an Honours Bachelor of Health Science degree. He then continued his education at Western University in London, Ontario where he earned his Masters of Physical Therapy. Justin joined the PITV team right out of school and has embodied the clinic’s vision since day one. He strongly believes in the great team approach at PITV and this is one of the many ways that Justin helps our client’s achieve their desired goals.

Justin considers himself to be a movement-based therapist with a very active approach to getting you better. He has a strong background in orthopedics, manual therapy, sports therapy and strength and conditioning. He has completed courses in the manual therapy divisions, Mackenzie courses, Selective Functional movement assessment (SFMA) and Functional Movement Screens. He also specializes and has training in Dry Needling, which he finds is very helpful for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Advanced courses in cervical spine and McGill Lumbar spine methods are just a few other areas that he has education in. He is also trained in Functional Capacity Evaluations to help determine impairments with screening and in-clinic testing to help guide recovery and return to safe work.

When he is not at work, you are most likely to find Justin pursing one of his various hobbies including beef farming, spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, or boating, to name a few. Fitness is also part of his daily routine, as he enjoys staying active and fit through running and high intensity workouts at his home gym.
